1. THE TWO-PIECE SUIT
Pale blue is a softer shade of sky blue and a perfect choice for the summer season. It looks flattering on almost all skin tones and requires a level of sartorial mastery to successfully pull it off. This shade of blue is more adaptable for a smart casual look as it gives a relaxed and fun feeling when rocking this suit color. They are perfect for a day at the races, a summer wedding, an awards ceremony or maybe just a cocktail event where you want to stand out.

✔ Pairing the pale blue suit with a crisp white shirt gave the gentleman a simple and sophisticated appearance. By unbuttoning his suit, he shows off his suspenders which complements his knitted tie.💯

✔The gentleman’s suit jacket is tailored to fit, while his suit pants are slim fitted with a no-break length. The peak lapel style was a perfect choice for the dressy suit. 💯

2. THE FOOTWEAR
Accessories are important as they enhance the outfit. He went for deep blue patent leather Belgian loafers and the top part (i.e. the vamp) is made of pale blue suede and Grosgrain Ribbon Bow. The loafer compliments the color of the suit by creating a balance with a different hue. Good call 💯

3. THE ACCESSORIES
The gentleman wore a pair of sunglasses with blue shade for an extra touch of elegance. He added a white fedora hat, a flamboyant mustache tie clip and a simple pocket square (in puff fold) to spruce up the look. The accessories were well put together. 💯

✔He chose to go without a belt by wearing suit pants without a belt loop. He went for a Suspenders instead. Great option! Using a belt would have been a little overboard and would have had an awful effect on the entire ensemble. 💯

✔He added a black and white polka dot slim knitted tie with a Windsor knot which contributed to elevating the ensemble. A better option would have been to go with a slightly wider knit tie to complement the Jacket’s lapel width.

1. THE VELVET JACKET
The classic velvet jacket has seen something of a renaissance. A velvet blazer is traditionally a staple of evening attire but can also be worn for informal events, as it adds a touch of elegance to a look.
The gentleman is wearing a dark green jacket in velvet fabric which makes him look very plush. 💯

✔ He went for a crisp white dress shirt with pleated fronts and with tiny black buttons on the placket. This adds formality to his look and creates a very sophisticated and elegant look. 💯

✔The gentleman’s suit separates was done by pairing a red and dark green tartan pants with his jacket. His suit jacket is tailored to fit while his suit pants are a slim fit with a half-break length. 💯

2. THE FOOTWEAR
He chose a dark green Velvet Crown slip-on loafers to balance the look. However, a pair of black pumps or black patent leather Belgian loafers with a Grosgrain Ribbon Bow would’ve looked more appropriate for this look. The loafer and green socks compliment the color of the suit by adding more color to the overall look, however, not quite a perfect choice for a dinner event.

3. SPREZZATURA
The jacket sets a formal tone despite having a Notch lapel (instead of a Shawl or Peak lapel which are exclusively used for Tuxedo or any formal dinner jackets).
He tried to maintain a clean balance between informal and formal, by opting to break the suit jacket with a Tartan dress pant (instead of a plain black pants or Tux pants) and he wore a slip-on loafer with a socks (instead of a Tux pumps, men’s formal loafer or dress shoe in patent leather); this shows the gentleman knew what he was doing as he tried to dress down the Tuxedo look.
Overall, this is a case of “studied carelessness” done with effortless ease which gave this gentleman a certain nonchalant attitude and elegant poise while breaking the Tuxedo rules for the sake of style. A perfect Sprezzatura! Ben fatto signore!👏 Ben fatto!

A smart-casual style is a "dressed up" casual style. It is neat, smart, yet relatively informal in style.
- ✔ The gentleman picked a black casual shirt with a band collar. The Band collar style is considered a casual collar style. Paired with black windowpane pants and classy tassel loafers to accentuate the smart casual look. And he further showed off his casually sophisticated style, by unbuttoning the shirt's top button.💯

✔ His pants are slim fit with No-Break length. However, it creates a crease around the knee area indicating that it’s a little bit tighter than it should. A measurement adjustment of an extra 1 inch around the knee and thigh would definitely give the pant a smarter dapper appearance.💯

He wore a chocolate brown tassel loafers to match with his slim dress belt. Perfect choice.💯

✔The suit jacket is has a notch lapel, the waistcoat is double breasted with shawl lapel while the Burgundy pants was well tapered and cuffed with no break. Both the suit and pant are wool-like which is suitable for the winter or chilly weather.💯

✔Pairing the ensemble with a white shirt and a grey double-breasted waistcoat for contrast was a bold move adding extra flair and panache to the look.💯

independence, and magic. Throughout history, purple robes were worn by royalty and people of authority or high rank. And this gentleman’s choice of a purple suit speaks luxury and royalty all in one look. Let’s get into the analysis.
